Our Integrative Oncology Clinic at the National Cancer Centre Singapore (NCCS) focus on enhancing patient wellness throughout their cancer journey. At NCCS, we provide holistic and evidence-based care that advises on use of acupuncture, natural products, and lifestyle measures alongside conventional cancer treatments to help you live well during and after cancer. Integrative therapies can also provide added support in controlling side effects from cancer treatments, such as pain and fatigue, and improve overall mental wellbeing.

Patients with the following symptoms or questions can be referred to our Integrative Oncology Clinic:

  • Persistent fatigue, pain, dry mouth, hot flushes or nausea 
  • Neuropathy 
  • Stress, anxiety, insomnia, or difficulty coping 
  • Interest in natural or lifestyle-based approaches to complement treatment 
  • Questions about safety of supplements

Our Integrative Oncology Clinic offers evidence-based complementary therapies to help manage cancer-related symptoms and treatment side effects. These therapies include but are not limited to:

  • Acupuncture and Acupressure 
  • Mind-body therapies such as psychological therapy (e.g. mindfulness-based and relaxation) for stress management or behavioural therapy for symptom management (e.g. insomnia, fatigue) 
  • Exercise programme and dietary modifications 
  • Advice on Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM)

All these therapies are carefully coordinated with your standard cancer treatment and delivered by certified healthcare professionals who work closely with your oncology team to ensure safe and effective care.
