What is Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM)?

TCM has a history of over 2000 years. It is based on concepts such as the flow of qi (body's vital energy) along meridians (channels) in the body, and yin-yang balance. These help to keep a person's spiritual, emotional, mental and physical health in balance. Some common TCM treatments include acupuncture, food therapy, herbal medicine and massage¹.
