Geriatric Oncology

The NCCS Geriatric Oncology Programme delivers holistic, evidence-based cancer care for adults aged 65 and above. Established in 2006, the programme integrates geriatric principles with oncology to address frailty, comorbidities, and functional needs, supported by a multidisciplinary team providing comprehensive assessment and personalised care. The programme has achieved over 40 publications, secured competitive grants, and presented at major international conferences such as SIOG and IPOS. Through key educational initiatives, including the CancerWise Workshop and the annual Basics in Geriatric Oncology Workshop, the team actively builds expertise and promotes age-inclusive cancer care across Singapore’s healthcare community.
