The Oncology Home Nursing Services (OHNS) operates as a specialised branch of NCCS Home Care Services, delivering safe, convenient, and patient-centred cancer care in the comfort of patients’ homes. This service aims to reduce the need for multiple hospital visits while maintaining high clinical standards, enabling patients to receive cancer treatments in familiar surroundings and alleviating caregiver stress and burden.
NCCS nurses will visit patients’ homes to perform:
- Off pump procedures
- Subcutaneous chemotherapy administration
Other NCCS Home Care services, such as home phlebotomy and home non-cytotoxic injections, are provided through partnerships with external home care nursing teams.
