Objectives
The objective of the clinical fellowship attachment is to strengthen trainee's experience in the following imaging subspecialties:
- General Oncological Radiology
- Neuroradiology/Head and Neck Radiology
- Oncologic Body Imaging
- Breast Imaging and image guided breast biopsies
Eligibility
- Must complete basic radiology training in their home country and obtain a post-graduate medical degree from a recognized institution in their country of study.
- Applicants must have full FRCR (UK) or its international equivalent such as FRANZCR or ABR (American Board of Radiology) certifications.
- Be proficient in English. English proficiency exams such as TOEFL is a pre-requisite for registration with the Singapore Medical Council if the applicant's medical education was not conducted in English (please refer to the Singapore Medical Council website for further details)
- Knowledge of current clinical practice in radiology with regard to CT, MRI and US.
Training Plan
- Vet, Protocol and Report CT examinations
- Vet, Protocol and Report MR examinations
- Perform and report General and Breast US examinations
- Report Mammograms
- Perform US guided breast biopsies
- Perform Stereotactic guided biopsies
- Report plain radiographs
- Participate in monthly Journal Club meeting and Teaching sessionMedical Oncology Fellowship ProgrammeRadiation Oncology Fellowship Programme
