To learn and understand the proper conduction and interpretation of clinical research.
To participate in the education of other physicians, staff, and support personnel by preparing and presenting didactic lectures on topics in Hematology/Medical Oncology.
To understand the psycho-social issues involved in the care of cancer patients and to display compassion for patients and family members.
Eligibility
MBBS
Proficient in English
A trainee in an oncology unit or a practicing oncologist
Training Plan
Participate in daily ward rounds and clinical work.
Participate in the management of patients in the out-patient setting.
Learn professional attitudes and behaviours in interacting and communicating with referring physicians.
Participate in the conduct of clinical trials.
Participate in clinical research work such as prospective or retrospective studies.
Attend the various tumor boards during their rotation.
Special programmes and additional training can be arranged for training to meet their specific goals.
