​A workplace-based professional development programme for pharmacists in their foundation years.

Built around the competency standards stipulated in the MOH Development Framework for Pharmacist.

  • Longitudinal coaching by dedicated seniors using Appreciative Inquiry principles.

​Educator Roadmap for Pharmacists

​Provide training structure for young pharmacists and aspiring pharmacy educators
​A roadmap was developed and maintained to ensure that all pharmacists in NCCS are equipped with basic education skills by competing workshops such as:
  • AM.EI Level workshops
  • Singapore Pharmacy Council Preceptor Training workshop
  • NHG Portfolio Development workshop

The roadmap also caters to mid-level pharmacists who aspire to pursue the educator track by recommending and planning relevant courses.

  • Postgraduate for pre-registration pharmacists.
  • Pre-registration pharmacists will be rotated to various pharmacy settings and services to fulfil the training requirement stipulated by the Singapore Pharmacy Council
​Oncology Residency (R2) Attachment Programme
​Contribute to the growth of the community of Specialist Pharmacists in Oncology
  • ​Training ground for MOH-NUS R2 residents undergoing oncology specialty training.
  • Attachment sites and duration are individualized to residents’ prior experience and future aspirations
​Geriatric Oncology Residency (R2) attachment programme
​Contribute to the growth of the community of Specialist Pharmacists in Geriatrics
  • ​4-week attachment programme
  • For MOH-NUS R2 residents undergoing training in the geriatrics specialty.
  • Residents will be trained and participate in the delivery of Medication Therapy Management (MTM) service for older adults undergoing cancer therapy.
​Oncology residency attachment programme for overseas pharmacists
​For cultural immersion, knowledge and skills sharing with oncology pharmacists from various countries including China, Thailand, and Korea.
