Profile
Dr. Choon Hua Thng received his MBBS from the National University of Singapore in 1989 and became a Fellow of the Royal College of Radiologists in 1996. He is a radiologist and is currently senior consultant and Head of the Division of Oncologic Imaging, National Cancer Centre, Singapore. He is an Clinical Professor with Duke-NUS Medical School and a Clinical Senior Lecturer with the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore. Dr Thng’s research interests include Angiogenesis imaging, DCE MRI and Hepatobiliary MRI. He is a Principal Investigator holding research grants from the Singapore Cancer Syndicate (SCS-CS-0072) and the Biomedical Research Council (BMRC 08/1/31/19/577) for the use of DCE MRI for anti-angiogenic therapy and liver cancer. He has also received industrial funding for projects involving microPET and microMRI imaging of animals.
