About

Dr Peh Tan Ying is a Senior Consultant in the NCCS Division of Supportive and Palliative Care and Clinical Director at Assisi Hospice. She obtained her medical degree from Monash University, Australia, followed by Advanced Specialist Training in Palliative Medicine in Singapore.

Dr Peh has a keen interest in the education and training of healthcare professionals and is dedicated to improving the quality of palliative care by upskilling clinicians through a variety of educational initiatives. As the Chair of the Singapore Hospice Council Healthcare Professionals Committee and Education Director of the SingHealth Duke-NUS Supportive and Palliative Care Centre (SDSPCC), she leads both cluster and national efforts to advance palliative care education.

Additionally, Dr Peh contributes to the future of palliative medicine through her involvement with the Palliative Medicine Integrated Programme Residency Advisory Committee (RAC) and the Joint Committee on Specialist Training (JCST) Examination Committee, Ministry of Health. Her work ensures that the next generation of palliative care specialists in Singapore is rigorously trained to deliver compassionate, patient-centered care at the highest standards.
