Profile

Assistant Professor Ng graduated from Otago Medical School in New Zealand in 1994 and subsequently attained his specialist oncology fellowship from the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in 2004. Following this he spent a year as a Clinical Research Fellow at Royal Melbourne Hospital in Australia and subsequently an additional two years as a Clinical Fellow at Princess Margaret Hospital in Toronto, Canada. His work in Canada focused primarily on clinical care as well as a special interest on health outcomes research in breast and lung cancer. 

He returned to Singapore in 2007 as an Associate Consultant at the National Cancer Centre Singapore and is now currently a Senior Consultant within the breast oncology team. In this intervening period he also completed a Master in Public Health from NUS in 2010. He is also passionate about medical education and spends part of his time every week lecturing and mentoring medical students at the University.
