Profile
Dr Chia is a Consultant Radiation Oncologist, with subspecialty interest in Lung and Brain Cancers as well as Stereotactic Body Radiotherapy and Stereotactic Radiosurgery.
In 2016, Dr Chia completed his training specialty training and obtained is fellowship in Clinical Oncology from the Royal College of Radiologist, UK. He concurrent had completed his Masters in Clinical Investigation for performing biomarker research in Lung cancer. Subsequent to this he obtained SingHealth Overseas Training Award in 2016 where he trained in St. Bartholomew's Hospital, UK for a year in Lung and Brain Clinical Oncology as well as CyberKnife applications.
Dr Chia is interested in improving patients outcomes and is actively involved in research related to both lung and brain radiotherapy. He is involved in teaching medical students, nurses, radiotherapy staff and residents. He is also certified to perform Stereotactic Body Radiotherapy to Lung and bone lesions as well as perform Stereotactic Radiosurgery for brain lesions.
