Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery

The Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery provides a wide range of surgical services ranging from dentoalveolar surgery to orthognathic surgery and the management of jaw tumours. The Department also handles patients with salivary gland and mucosal diseases as well as patients with facial pain and temporo-mandibular joint problems.

Based at the National Dental Centre Singapore (NDCS), the Department is an active participant in the implant and maxillofacial prosthodontics team and in the dentofacial deformity management team. The Department collaborates closely with oncologic surgeons in other hospitals and is an active participant in the multi-disciplinary management of head and neck tumours.
