The Lymphoma & Sarcoma Department is committed to advancing the understanding and treatment of these cancers through rigorous research and comprehensive clinical care. Our multidisciplinary team includes experienced clinicians, research coordinators, and administrative staff working together to provide expert diagnosis and management for all types of lymphoma and sarcoma. We offer patients access to novel therapies, targeted treatments, and cutting-edge clinical trials, ensuring they benefit from the most current and effective treatment approaches.
Our research programme focuses on immunotherapy, genomic sequencing, and biomarker development, driving innovation in lymphoma and sarcoma care.
Through collaborations within Singapore and internationally, we translate scientific breakthroughs into real-world therapies, maintaining treatment regimens aligned with global standards. We also organise dedicated symposiums for both lymphoma and sarcoma to foster scientific collaboration and showcase discoveries. Our goal is to deliver personalised care and bring together the best team to support every patient’s treatment and recovery.
Alongside our dedicated Lymphoma Translational Lab - they bridge the worlds of patient care and scientific research, ensuring that new discoveries can be translated into meaningful benefits for patients as quickly as possible.
Turning Discovery into Better Care
In 2024, the team was awarded S$25 million by the Ministry of Health through the National Medical Research Council (NMRC) Open Fund-Large Collaborative Grant (OF-LCG) programme. This landmark funding supports SYMPHONY 2.0, a national precision oncology research programme focused on improving the understanding, diagnosis, and treatment of lymphoma.
Over the years, the team has published more than 100 scientific studies on lymphomas commonly seen in Asian populations, contributing valuable insights into how these diseases develop and behave. Their work has led to the development of improved diagnostic and prognostic tools that help doctors make more informed treatment decisions, as well as biomarkers that can predict how patients may respond to certain therapies.
Most importantly, these discoveries are helping to pave the way towards more personalised care—ensuring that each patient receives treatment that is better tailored to their disease and individual needs.

Beyond research and clinical care, the Lymphoma team is deeply committed to education, collaboration, and patient engagement. One of our flagship event is the annual Singapore Scientific Lymphoma Symposium, that brings together clinicians, scientists, researchers, healthcare professionals, patients, and caregivers from Singapore and around the world. The symposium serves as a platform to share new discoveries, exchange ideas, and foster collaborations that help advance lymphoma research and improve patient care. By connecting experts across disciplines, the symposium acts as a catalyst for innovation, helping to translate scientific discoveries into meaningful improvements in diagnosis, treatment, and outcomes for patients with lymphoma.
