Small acts can make their day

"I treat elderly patients as if they were my own relatives.  Small acts such as offering patients a blanket, adjusting their wheelchair, and asking if they need to use the washroom, can make their day.  Seeing familiar faces gives them comfort and reassurance – what they need most in times of ill health."
