About Us

1 in 3 of us will be diagnosed with cancer in our lifetime.

NCCS is home to the largest number of surgeons, oncologists and researchers in Southeast Asia. We see close to 70% of Singapore’s public sector cancer patients, attending to over 150,000 patient visits every year. Each patient who walks through our door is treated with kindness and care.

Over the past 18 years we have worked hard to improve cancer survival rates in Singapore, developing novel therapies and ensuring the best treatments are available to those that need them.

We produce groundbreaking research on Asian-specific cancers that save the lives of people in our community. And we provide the best care, by the best people, in the best place, including providing financial support to patients in need.

We ensure that every patient we see is given the best chance possible to survive their cancer.

A gift to NCCS helps save lives.

A new home for NCCS

On average 12,000 new cancer cases are diagnosed each year. By 2030 this number is expected to at least double. To meet the increasing need for cancer care, the Ministry of Health gave approval to build a new NCCS building. The new NCCS, which is due for completion in 2022, will dedicate 24 stories to patient care, education and research, including a new comprehensive proton therapy centre.

This year NCCS launched a $150million public Capital Campaign to raise much-needed funds. The funds raised will be invested in to our world-class, innovative research to find the breakthroughs that will change how we understand, diagnose, treat and ultimately cure cancer. The funds will also help us to provide vital patient care initiatives which support cancer patients in need.

But, it would not be possible without the help of our kind donors. People like you. You can help save lives.

Our focus

At NCCS we focus on making more cancer survivors. We do this through our pioneering research funded by our NCC Research Fund and our advanced patient care initiatives supported by our NCCS Cancer Fund. Together these two areas of focus help us to increase survival rates, and ensure that those living with cancer can enjoy life for as long as possible.
