The Post Graduate Education Unit (PGEU) offers fellowship programmes across various sub-specialties, designed to equip oncologists with specialised skills. Programmes are led by experienced faculty mentors, who provide exposure to clinical teaching experiences and research aimed at improving patient outcomes.

Immunisation Requirements
  • Covid Vaccination (at least 2 plus 1 booster shot)
  • Tdap (taken within 10 years)
  • Varicella Zoster Virus (VZV)
    • Taken the chickenpox vaccine (2 doses, 1 month apart)
    • Serological evidence of immunity (VZV IgG antibody positive)
  • Measles, Mumps and Rubella (MMR)
  • Hepatitis B
    • Serological evidence of immunity i.e. anti-HBs above 10Miu/mL
Eligibility
  • Basic medical degree (MBBS or equivalent)
  • Completed 12-months housemanship/internship postings
  • Must be registered with medical council, ministry or relevant licensing authority for practicing medicine in home country
  • Meet individual department’s eligibility criteria and requirements
 
  • Must be eligible for Singapore Medical Council (SMC) Temporary Medical registration
  • Must be eligible for Training Employment Pass and Visa from Ministry of Manpower, Singapore
  • 2 letters of recommendation
  • Service testimonial from current employer
 
  • Proven proficiency in English. Must meet SMC’s requirement if medium of instruction for basic medical degree is NOT English
  • Possess 3 years of post-housemanship working experience OR postgraduate diploma or degree

 

In addition to the above criteria, Clinical Fellows must be sponsored by either:

(i) the government

(ii) regional health authority

(iii) an appropriate institution in the home country*

*The doctor must be on current full-time employment (40 hours or more per week) with the sponsoring institution.

  • Concurrent applications are not permitted. Please make your selection according to the division you are interested in.
  • Successful applicants will be sent a conditional offer letter from NCCS PGEU together with the terms and conditions of attachment. The applicant will be given 3 weeks from the date of offer letter to accept the offer letter. Failure to do so will result in the offer lapsing.
  • The offer and start date will only be confirmed upon the successful application of temporary medical registration from SMC, training employment pass from MOM, Singapore and the completion of all other administrative procedures required for the attachment.
