Oncologic Imaging Fellowship Programme

Objectives 

The objective of the clinical fellowship attachment is to strengthen trainee's experience in the following imaging subspecialties:

  • General Oncological Radiology
  • Neuroradiology/Head and Neck Radiology
  • Oncologic Body Imaging
  • Breast Imaging and image guided breast biopsies 

Eligibility 

  • Must complete basic radiology training in their home country and obtain a post-graduate medical degree from a recognized institution in their country of study.
  • Applicants must have full FRCR (UK) or its international equivalent such as FRANZCR or ABR (American Board of Radiology) certifications.
  • Be proficient in English. English proficiency exams such as TOEFL is a pre-requisite for registration with the Singapore Medical Council if the applicant's medical education was not conducted in English (please refer to the Singapore Medical Council website for further details)
  • Knowledge of current clinical practice in radiology with regard to CT, MRI and US. 

Training Plan 

  • Vet, Protocol and Report CT examinations
  • Vet, Protocol and Report MR examinations
  • Perform and report General and Breast US examinations
  • Report Mammograms
  • Perform US guided breast biopsies
  • Perform Stereotactic guided biopsies
  • Report plain radiographs
  • Participate in monthly Journal Club meeting and Teaching session
