Dr Peh Tan Ying is a Senior Consultant in the NCCS Division of Supportive and Palliative Care and Lien Centre for Palliative Care, and Head, Medical at Assisi Hospice. She received her medical degree from Monash University, Australia, and subsequently completed her Advanced Specialist Training in Palliative Medicine in Singapore.
Dr Peh is the Chair of the Chapter of Palliative Medicine Physicians and sits on the Palliative Medicine Advanced Specialist Training Specialist and Subspecialty Training Committee and Joint Committee for Specialist Training Exit Exam Committee.
Dr Peh has a keen interest in the education and training of healthcare professionals, including doctors, nurses and allied health professionals. As the Education Director of the SingHealth Duke-NUS Supportive and Palliative Care Centre, Co-Chairperson of the SHC Community Engagement and Communication Steering Committee Healthcare Workgroup and Assistant Programme Director of the NUS Graduate Diploma in Palliative Medicine, she is heavily involved in undergraduate and postgraduate palliative care education and training in Singapore.
