About Doctor
Prof Lalit Krishna is a Senior Consultant at the Division of Supportive and Palliative Care, National Cancer Centre Singapore. He holds a Masters of Medical Ethics and Medical Education, a MD in Palliative Medicine, a PhD in Medical Ethics and a PhD in Medical Education.
Lalit’s research centres on holistic approaches to Palliative Care, Professional Identity Formation (PIF) and Ethical Frameworks in Healthcare. Through extensive publications in peer reviewed journals, he has contributed to new understandings in
- Personhood at the end of life
- Continuous sedation ethics
- Mentorship and professional identity in medical education
He has also presented internationally and co-authored position statements that shape palliative care policy and practice, particularly within multi ethnic contexts.
