Dr Daniel Quah is a Senior Consultant at the National Cancer Centre Singapore who has dual specialisation in both Radiation Oncology and Palliative Medicine. He lectures in various institution in the local education arena – teaching across the fraternities of medicine, nursing and allied health, and in both the undergraduate and post-graduate levels. He has a particularly strong interest in Boron Neutron Capture Therapy (BNCT), an emerging particle therapy technique that can deliver very high doses of radiation with minimal side effect, and has presented in several conferences on BNCT over the past few years. His other areas of interests include prognostication of patients with metastatic disease, multidisciplinary management of patients with spine metastases or cord compression, patient-determined outcomes and the care of adolescent and young adult oncology patients.
