Clin Asst Prof Sim Yirong

Dr. Sim Yirong is a Senior Consultant and Head of the Breast Surgery Department at Singapore General Hospital and National Cancer Centre Singapore. She also served as the Director of Research for the SingHealth Duke-NUS Breast Centre. Dr Sim graduated with a medical degree and PhD from the University of Cambridge in 2009, and obtained her fellowship with Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh in 2016. She did her Advanced Breast Surgery Fellowship (Oncoplastic Surgery and Translational Research) at Seoul National University Hospital from 2019-2020, under the Healthcare Manpower Development Pro-gramme (HMDP). Her focus and interests are in breast cancer research and in education.
