BCAM 2026

According to the Singapore Cancer Registry Annual Report 2023, breast cancer remains the most common cancer diagnosed in females, with more than 13,000 cases reported in the period 2019 – 2023. It is also the leading cause of cancer death in women in Singapore.

Every October marks the Breast Cancer Awareness Month (BCAM), a national campaign to raise awareness for this cause. This year, with the theme 'Breast Health Matters - Every Woman, Every Age', we aim to empower women to take action today by:

(a) increasing public awareness of breast cancer and healthy lifestyle changes; and

(b) motivating women to undergo mammogram screening.

SingHealth Breast Cancer Awareness Month 2026 Organising Committee has planned a great line-up of public events this September and October. Check them out below, register and save the dates in your calendar!

Breast Cancer Awareness Education Booths at SingHealth Institutions

When did you last take charge of your breast health?

Early detection saves lives, and it starts with knowing what to look for. Visit our education booths and chat with our nurse counsellors while learning about the importance of regular screening, its early signs and symptoms, and how you can lower your risk of breast cancer.
