Medication Delivery Service

Wait in the comfort of your home and have your medication delivered right to your doorstep. It’s free! Just follow the steps below.

  1. Find out if you are eligible for medication delivery service
    You can arrange for your medication to be delivered to you if:

    ✓You have submitted your original NCCS prescription to our pharmacy or clinic staff
    ✓Have sufficient medication for at least one (1) week

    We are not able to deliver the following medication:
    ✗ Prescriptions from other institutions
    ✗ Controlled drugs
    ✗ Medications not kept at NCCS
    ✗ Milk Feeds

  2.  Arrange your delivery

    (i) Leave your original prescription with our clinic or pharmacy staff. Before you do so, remember to take a photo of your prescription for personal record.

    (ii) Decide on your preferred delivery time slot:

    Monday to Saturday

    (excluding Public Holidays and eve of New Year, Chinese New Year and Christmas)

    10:00am to 2:00pm

    2:00pm to 6:00pm

    6:00pm to 10:00pm​

    (iii) Arrange for medication delivery through one of the following methods:

    A) Call NCCS Pharmacy at (65) 6243 7232 / (65) 6243 7234 (Monday to Friday, excluding Public Holidays, 9:30 am to 5:00 pm)

    B) Fill up the online form at

    - Please note that the earliest delivery date available will be at least 7 days from the time of your request. This will allow us some lead time to process your order.
    - Our staff will contact you within three (3) working days to confirm your delivery.
    - Please do not submit multiple requests for the same order as this may prevent us from getting back to you sooner.

  3. Wait at home to receive your medication
    Please ensure that someone aged 18 years old and above is home to receive your medication at the scheduled delivery time. Your medication parcel cannot be left outside your home unattended. Please check your parcel to be sure that your order is correct.

  4. Make payment for your medication, if applicable
    Payment is only required for medications that are not claimable by MediSave or insurance. You should receive your bill invoice within one (1) week of your scheduled delivery.

FAQs on Medication Delivery Service (MDS)

No. Due to clinical safety issues and availability of medications, we are only able to process requests for NCCS prescriptions.
No. It is a regulatory requirement that the original prescription have to be sighted by our pharmacist.
We can deliver medication available in NCCS formulary. There are certain medications such as controlled drugs, which cannot be delivered due to regulatory control and must be collected at the pharmacy.
You can arrange for delivery of the medications available at our pharmacy, and we will return the original prescription to you to purchase the other medications at another pharmacy.
If you urgently need your prescription filled, it is best that you personally collect your medications at the pharmacy with your valid and original prescription.

If your original prescription is with us, you can call us at (65) 62437232 or (65) 62437234 on Monday to Friday (except Public holidays) from 9:30am to 5:00pm to arrange for self-collection at the pharmacy. Your medications will be packed in advance for pick-up.
If your prescription is partially filled (i.e. there is balance supply on the prescription), you may request for your original prescription to be included in your medication package. However, you will not be able to arrange for another medication delivery if your original prescription is not with us.

If your prescription is fully filled (i.e. there is no more balance supply on the prescription), the pharmacy will retain the prescription for legal requirements. You can however request for a copy of the prescription to be included in your medication package.
We deliver to all residential addresses within Singapore, except Jurong Island Checkpoint, Jurong Island, Sentosa Island and Pulau Ubin.
Both healthcare and logistics service providers must adhere to standards for medication delivery on proper storage, security, traceability and safety of medication during the delivery process, and compliance with legal and professional requirements.
Institution has guidance on duration of each medication supply to ensure patients received supply with good expiry date and to ensure all patients are able to receive their medications with no interruptions.

Medication Management

This service is designed to help you manage your medicines appropriately.

  • We help you reorganise your medicines by sorting them out, disposing the unnecessary or expired ones, and re-labeling them.
  • We offer counseling and advice on the proper use of medicines.
  • We provide medication information materials.

You may therefore make an appointment with our pharmacists at (65) 6436 8091 if you have:

  • Medicines at home that can no longer be used.
  • Queries on the safe disposal of your medicines.
  • Queries on the proper medicine indication and instruction.

Outpatient Pharmacy Helpdesk

Our aim is to enhance, expand and extend the quality of care available to our patients and their caregivers. This helpdesk can help you with:

  • Additional supply of drugs should your appointment be deferred.
  • Supply of maintenance drugs should you be prescribed insufficiently to last till your next doctor's visit.
  • Arrangement for home delivery of prescribed drugs or retail items.
  • Re-fill of maintenance drugs remaining in a valid prescription.

Counseling Services

We provide counseling on the proper use of prescribed medicines, their side effects, the precautions to be taken, drug interactions, proper storage conditions, management of missed doses and other information peculiar to a specific drug or patient.

Smoking Cessation Counseling

At the National Cancer Centre Singapore, we understand the unique challenges of quitting smoking while focusing on cancer treatments. If you are a cancer patient who smokes, you should consider quitting smoking, whether or not your cancer is smoking-related. Studies have shown that cancer patients who stop smoking tend to have better responses to chemotherapy and/or radiotherapy, and have fewer side effects from treatments. We ensure that patients who are interested in quitting smoking are offered support.

Your consult with our counselors will cover the following:

  • Assessment of your medical history and cancer treatment status
  • Assessment of your smoking behaviour and triggers
  • Formulation of a suitable quit smoking plan to suit your lifestyle and cancer treatment schedule
  • Assessment of your need for nicotine replacement and/or behavioural therapies
  • Management of cravings, stress and withdrawal symptoms
