Dr James Khoo received his MBBS degree from the National University of Singapore in 1984. He is trained in Diagnostic Radiology primarily at the Singapore General Hospital and qualified himself as Fellow of the Royal College of Radiologists (London) in 1992.
Between 1995 & 1996, Dr Khoo underwent subspecialty training in Head and Neck Radiology at the Stanford University Hospital, USA and he stayed on at Stanford the following year from 1996-1997 for training in Body Imaging.
In the year 2000, he joined the National Cancer Centre, Singapore to take up new challenges in the area of cancer imaging. His main clinical interest is in the Imaging of Head & Neck Cancers for which he has had numerous research publications as well as minor interest in Breast Imaging & Body Imaging.
Dr Khoo teaches at the Duke-NUS Medical School and also at the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore. Presently, he is an examiner at the Master of Medicine (Radiology) - FRCR examination and was Past President of the Medical Ultrasound Society of Singapore.
He author/co-author of over 50 peer-reviewed publications and book chapters and reviews several local and international journals too.
