Local Health Manpower Development Plan (HMDP)

MOH has extended the Health Manpower Development Plan (HMDP) fellowships to approved local training programmes. This will augment the previous mode of staff’s overseas attachments by maximising opportunities where expertise and capacity is available in Singapore. 

The “Cancer Survivorship for Healthcare Physicians” training programme aims to equip health care physicians (HCP) with skills and knowledge to provide cancer related care as a Family Physicians (FP) in the community or hospital setting. It is open to FP in primary care and community practice, FP in the Cancer Centre, FP in the hospital, other interested physicians involved with cancer care. The following are the admission criteria for the programme: 

  • Possess valid practicing license with the Singapore Medical Council 
  • Registered under the Register of Family Physicians under the Family Physicians Accreditation Board (FPAB) in: Family Medicine 
  • Registered under the Register of Specialists with Specialist Accreditation Board (SAB) in:
    • Internal Medicine 
    • Geriatric Medicine 
    • Cardiology 
    • Renal Medicine 
    • Endocrine Medicine 
    • Respiratory Medicine 
    • Rehabilitation Medicine 
    • General Surgery 
    • Colorectal Surgery 
    • Breast Surgery
