Graduated with M.D. from University of Damascus in 1978. Completed training in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology in 1984. Completed surgical pathology fellowship training and became Diplomate of the American Board of Pathology in USA in 1985. 

Clinical interests include cardiovascular imaging, oncologic and non-oncologic applications of PET, SPECT/CT and radionuclide therapy.
