Profile

Dr Jason Chan is currently an Associate Consultant at the Division of Medical Oncology, National Cancer Centre Singapore. He completed his medical oncology speciality training at the National Cancer Centre Singapore and has special interests in the treatment of soft tissue sarcomas and lymphomas. He is a member of the Singapore Society of Oncology (SSO), American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO), European Society of Medical Oncology (ESMO) and American Association for Cancer Research (AACR).

He is actively involved in graduate medical education and is a core faculty member of the Medical Oncology Senior Residency Program as well as clinical lecturer at the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore.

His current research interests are on the molecular pathobiology of soft tissue sarcomas and lymphomas. He has contributed to published work on the molecular understanding of liposarcomas (JCO 2013) as well as breast fibroepithelial tumors (Nature Genetics 2015). Recently, he is exploring novel translational applications by studying the molecular pathogenesis of virus-associated soft tissue sarcomas and lymphomas.
