​Programme Support for Yoga Exercise [Position is currently un-available]

To assist in logistical matters pre-and-post yoga activity as well as provide event and safety support.

Level of Patient Interaction: Low to Moderate / Minimal to basic interaction that involves meeting and speaking with patients.

Commitment required

You may commit at least 10 collective hours, over a term of 4 months to:

(i) a 2-hour training prior to commencement of volunteer service, and

(ii) at least two 2-hour service sessions* per month, or as regular as once a week

*Tuesday, 6pm to 8pm

​Minimum age​21 years old
Desired qualities, personality, talents and/or skills
  • Prior experience (preferred) in caring for cancer patients, or are survivors who are well after completing treatment and wish to contribute.
  • Passionate in volunteering and helping/supporting other fellow cancer patients
  • Interest in yoga/wellness exercise
  • Patient, caring & approachable
  • Effectively bilingual – English and Mandarin / Malay / Tamil
What to note​As this is an on-going programme through the year, there is a regular need for volunteer support. Interested volunteers are welcome to contact our Volunteer Engagement Team for more information.
