As part of our efforts to promote cross-border knowledge exchange, NCCS offers two types of professional oncology training programmes for overseas medical doctors, namely Clinical Fellowships and Attachment programmes. These international liaison programmes provide oncologists and doctors in the region with a very good platform for exchange of ideas with their counterparts in Singapore.
Applicants may choose to train in any of the following departments: Medical Oncology, Surgical Oncology, Palliative Medicine, Oncologic Imaging and Radiation Oncology. The English language will be the primary medium of instruction.
Type of Training Attachments
(A) Clinical Fellowships
Eligibility:
Intakes: Throughout the year (Applications must be submitted at least 6 months before commencement date).
(B) Clinical Observership
Intakes: April and October (Applications to be made at least 6-months before commencement date)
(C) “Hands-off” Observership and short attachments
Intakes: Throughout the year (Applications to be made at least 4 months before commencement date)
