Continuing Pharmacist Education

NCCS Pharmacy department provide various training programs for pre-registration pharmacists, pharmacy students and residents of National University of Singapore (NUS) Oncology Residency Program.

Pre-Registration Pharmacist Training

It is a complete 40- week training program in place for pre-registration pharmacists who have graduated from the Pharmacy School of the National University of Singapore. This program is aligned with the Singapore Pharmacy Council requirements for licensing of pharmacists in Singapore and it includes attachments to community, tertiary hospital and cancer specialist centre-pharmacy settings.

Student Internships

The Pharmacy department offers a 6-week attachment to pharmacy students who have completed their third year of pharmacy education, as part of their preceptorship program.

Hematology/Oncology Specialty Residency (NUS)

In collaboration with the National University of Singapore, the National University Hospital and the Singapore General Hospital, the Hematology/Oncology Pharmacy Practice Residency is a one-year educational programme. The residency in oncology pharmacy requires active participation by the resident in the provision of pharmaceutical care.  It aims to provide the resident with an opportunity to further develop academically and professionally in the area of oncology pharmacy practice.
