Teleconsultation, sometimes referred to as remote consultation or telehealth, refers to interactions that happen between a clinician (such as doctor, nurse or pharmacist) and a patient for the purpose of providing diagnostic or therapeutic advice through electronic means (such as phone or device with internet access). This enables the delivery of continuous care at the comfort of patients’ own homes.
