The National Cancer Centre Singapore (NCCS) is the national specialty centre for tertiary cancer care. In addition to offering holistic and multi-disciplinary oncology care and treatment, our clinicians and scientists collaborate with local and international partners to conduct robust, cutting-edge clinical and translational research.
Patient Care
NCCS treats all cancers with a comprehensive suite of medical specialties and services, including medical oncology, surgical oncology, radiation therapy, palliative care and rehabilitation. Advanced and innovative treatments such as proton therapy at the Goh Cheng Liang Proton Therapy Centre, immunotherapy and cell therapy are offered at NCCS. Our dedicated multi-disciplinary teams of doctors, nurses and allied health professionals provide integrated cancer care to ensure our patients always receive holistic, empathetic care and support.
Teaching Institution
As a teaching institution, NCCS believes that academic medicine is fundamental in equipping future generations with relevant and critical medical knowledge and clinical care skills to ensure the continued provision of high standards of patient care. We deliver specialised training to junior doctors and students in the medical, nursing, and allied health disciplines and offer them opportunities to tackle real-world cases under the mentorship of experienced healthcare professionals, who are experts in the field of oncology.
Patient-centered research and clinical trials
At NCCS, we work to continually improve our understanding of cancer to improve how the disease is detected, treated and prevented. Our focus on translating cancer research into real clinical impact to benefit patients is demonstrated by the fact that NCCS conducts the largest number of oncology clinical trials in Singapore. Clinical trials give patients access to innovative, potentially life-enhancing cancer therapies and open pathways to developing novel treatments for various cancer types.
By leveraging cutting-edge research and advanced clinical practices, NCCS strives to improve lives and offer hope of a cancer-free tomorrow.
