Camp Encourage

Aims:

Camp Encourage is:

- a 3 day/2 night camp (during June school holidays).
- for children and youth aged 10 to 14 whose loved one has cancer.
- to provide a therapeutic experience of emotional release and healing.

Programmes are usually organised during school holidays.

Expressive Therapy:
- Bioengertic Exercises
- Sand-play & Symbol Work
- Creative Drawing and Processing Activities & Journal writing

Organised Play:
- Sandcastle-building competition
- Beach games
- Outings

Children and youth need support when a loved one is ill. They too have fears, anxieties and questions but they may not know how to express.

It is important to help them understand, find comfort and courage...

Co-organized by Hospice Care Association and NCC.
