Aims:

Our O & G group was launched on 22nd May 1998 and has since celebrated 8 birthdays. This closely-knitted group is brainchild of A/Professor Tay Sun Kuie and SSN Tan Tiew Yah who saw the need to provide socio-emotional support for female patients struggling with women cancers (i.e. cancers of the womb, ovary and cervix) through their daily work.

Having oversome many obstacles together over the years, the members have fostered deep and supportive friendships and continue to reach out to newly-diagnosed patients. They meet to share their experience, exchange new knowledge and organize social activities such as 'makan' sessions and outings. They also produce their own newsletters covering special events and celebrations.
