Aim of Group:
At the National Cancer Centre, we treat cancers with surgery, chemotherapy and radiotherapy. But cancer management is not just about drugs and blood tests. It is about you. It is about how you live every day with a diagnosis of cancer. It is about all the things you do to help yourself beat the cancer. It is about what to do when find you can’t beat it.
The cancer journey involves rediscovering the important things in life. It is about learning how to be unafraid. It is about how to live well.
ENREACH is a highly acclaimed biannual retreat organized by the National Cancer Centre and the Singapore Cancer Society. The most cherished part of this retreat is however meeting people like yourself. People struggling with the same cancer. You will be encouraged by the stories of those who have fought and overcome. You will be inspired by those who are still struggling. You will learn their methods and short cuts. After each retreat, many patients tell us that their lives have been changed. Every retreat starts with lectures but ends with friends and support groups.
