Nursing Research
Nursing Research is conducted and evidence-based nursing is integrated into practice to enhance excellence in Oncology Nursing. The results obtained from the research also guide nurses in developing the best interventions for the delivery of patient care.
The department of nursing supports an environment that facilitates the practice of research based on professional nursing at the NCC. Nursing research is directed towards the evaluation and improvement of patient care, patient care systems and patient outcomes. The department encourages the development and utilisation of nursing research and the maintenance of a research programme that ensures an appropriate quality of research proposals.
