As we know, liver cancer is most of the time caused by Hepatitis. Hepatitis is a liver disease. Two types of this disease are Hepatitis B and Hepatitis C, caused by viruses which are small "germs".

Hepatitis B & C is spread through the transfer of blood. For example, when a person receives blood from another person who has Hepatitis B or C, this person will get the disease. To prevent getting Hepatitis B, it is important to get an immunization. However, we cannot get an immunization for Hepatitis C.

Therefore, we should avoid tattoo, body piercing and needle use unless in a clinic setting.

Smoking and drinking alcohol increases the chance of liver cancer. Therefore, to prevent liver cancer, we should not take up the habit of smoking or drinking alcohol.

For males who drink alcohol, they should try not to have more than 2 drinks a day. For females who drink alcohol, they should try not to drink more than one mug a day.


Antioxidants are fruits and vegetables which contain vitamins that are useful to our bodies. In our bodies, there may be damage which may cause cancer. These food help to protect us from these damages. Drinking lots of green tea can strengthen our body against these damage by supplying antioxidant.

 

Vitamins C pills and Vitamin E pills are also antioxidants. However, it is still better to take fruits and vegetables because some pills may cause harm to us.

Most importantly, we need to have at least 8 hours of sleep everyday and do exercises regularly.
