Everyone
is at risk for developing cancer. There are some
risk factors, like increasing age and family history that
we cannot control. There are some cancers that we
just don’t know the cause. But we do know that up
to 70 percent of all cancers may be prevented through
changes to our diet and lifestyles.
Understanding the risk factors and modification of lifestyle
will do a great deal to lessen the individual risk of
cancer. It is important to view our eating and living
habits as a lifetime commitment to good health and prevention
of cancer as well as heart disease.
