Research has shown
the importance of infections as a cause of cancer. Viruses have
been linked to some human cancers. These include the hepatitis
B virus, which can lead to liver cancer. AIDS patients
who are affected by the HIV virus have a higher incidence
of cancer due to their weaker immune system. The Epstein-Barr
virus is a causative agent in nasopharyngeal cancer which is
prevalent in southern Asia. Cervical cancer is caused by the
virus Human Papilloma and the disease is a big problem in developing
